Description

A good mahogany George III Period antique cellaret. The domed hinged top veneered in beautifully figured mahogany and banded in rosewood. The top lifts to reveal mahogany bottle divisions. Both the front and sides again in beautifully figured mahogany also banded in rosewood and the sides retaining their original brass carrying handles. The cellaret supported on a finely constructed mahogany stand with reeded tapering supports and block feet. English circa 1790-1800

Dimensions: 15" wide x 16" deep x 26" high

Condition: This cellaret is in stunning original condition, a wonderful colour and patination. Cleaned and waxed. An old repair to the front of the domed top
