Early Victorian Embroidered Sampler in Original Rosewood Frame Dated 1841

Description

This is a finely embroidered early Victorian sampler by Ann Clayson aged 10 and dated 1841. The sampler is in really good condition for its age and is in its original rosewood frame which is also in excellent order.

This measures 55 cms by 45 cms overall, including the frame.
