Lovely Victorian rum barrel from the 19th century. Oval in shape and constructed in oak. Unusual to have the coopered bands in copper, more often seen in brass. This barrel has an attractive patina both on the oak and the copper bands. With only a little movement on a couple of oak strips the condition is solid and good. Cleaned and waxed ready to use and enjoy. Great for walking sticks.
