Description

This is a beautiful pair of Japanese shibayama panels dating from the Meiji period, circa 1890. The plaques have a good colour and are

framed in very attractive red lacquer and hand gilded frames. Both plaques bear the signature of the artist on a small panel inset to the lower left hand side. These are in super condition and measure 45 cm by 30 cm overall, including the frames.
