A truly wonderful large pair of Victorian cast iron campana-shape urns. Each has an everted flared top over an elegant fluted and gadrooned body with a fluted socle supported on a plain plinth base. They are of impressive proportions being 29½” high and they retain a beautiful old painted finish with lichen and natural weathering. Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or restoration. This wonderful pair of urns – English, c.1875 – would grace any country house.
