Pair of Decorative Late 19thc Serpentine Marble Columns

Description

A superb pair decorative of late 19th century serpentine marble columns.

These columns consist of a turned moulded top with carved scrolling acanthus decoration.

This leads down to a turned balustrade column with further scrolling acanthus decoration below.

The base is of turned and graduated form supported by an octagonal plinth.

The columns are in very good condition with some minor chips (which are not very noticeable) but this is quite common with items made of this material.
