Regency Mahogany Wine Cellarette of Good Colour

Description

A very good and original Regency period mahogany WINE CELLARETTE of pretty compact size.

Of typical high quality Regency design, the flat top is of beautifully figured "flame" mahogany, whilst the slightly tapering body is applied with reeded "panels" and a large cast gilt brass Lion's Head ring handle to the front. It is supported on pretty 'panelled" sabre legs with their original brass castors.

The lid opens to reveal the lead-lined interior (recently replaced) and the whole cellarette retains its good original "warm" colour and patina.
