Description

19th Century Antique Cumbrian Quilt. This is a beautiful, hand made by Ann.M.Allison in 1896, Cumbrian quilt. It is signed in places by Ann, the quilt probably took over two years to complete with many of the fabric pieces dating from the mid-19th century. Often referred to as Log cabin quilts, they were made using cuts of clothing and other fabric. This is a large antique quilt, in super condition given its age. Originally made by Ann, in Cumbria, in 1896.
