A highly decorative hand painted early 20th century Chinoiserie headboard or wall hanging.

This piece consists of a shaped panel with gilt painted edge with a nicely painted central scene of two immortals playing the traditional board game, 'Go' with an onlooker, this game is similar to chess.

The figures are painted in a traditional Chinese landscape setting among rocks and bamboo.

This piece is in good original condition and could either

be used as a headboard or very decorative wall hanging.
