Japanese Ivory of a Nobleman on Horseback with Samurai

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this finely carved Japanese ivory okimono of a nobleman on horseback being protected by two Samurai attendants , the bearded intimidating guards are dressed in their armour one carries a nagata and the other holds a yari , they are certainly keeping the nobleman at close quarter , a great one piece carved ivory okimono .

The condition is lovely !!
