A fine pair of Victorian Coalbrookdale benches circa 1870''s and of the grape & serpent pattern. These benches have gone through an extensive restoration program, with the added benefit of all the cast iron being bead blasted to take off many layers of paint, this then shows the original detail, then many hours burnishing to give a beautiful and unique polished iron finish. From there they were then lacquered to seal the finish. The lattes are made from Areca a type of palm tree, and given a sanded white finish. They now look fantastic and would be best suited for use in a conservatory so as to maintain their condition.
