A Very Nice Four Tier Antique Spice Tower

Description

A very nice four tier antique spice tower with unusual reeded decoration separating each compartment, lovely small proportions.Retaining its original labels Cinnamon, Cloves, Mace and unusually on the bottom compartment from the remnants of the label it would have said Nutmegs or Ginger. Lovely colour and patina. There is a small piece missing to internal thread on top compartment but this does not effect the tightening of it. Lid at some stage has been replaced but has been done very well.

It measures 21cm in height and 7cm base diameter. Each compartment slightly graduates. A really nice example of an antique spice tower. C1830
