A unusual silvered double photo frame. The frame is made very much in the manor of a gilt frame for a painting but instead it has been silvered rather than gilded. The double frame is moulded with floral reliefs and has an inner fabric covered mount, which has been covered in powder blue shoot silk. The design is typical of silver double frames of the period but is unusual in it''s manufacture an is most likely to be by a picture framers of the period. The whole is in very good condition. C.1900.
