A stunning, large antique Chinese scholar's bamboo brush pot, c1820. The pot is deeply carved and the carving is of the highest quality. It depicts 33 perfectly formed figures in a house and a woodland scene.

This is a fine quality Chinese antique with a real presence. It has aged beautifully with good colour/patina, and is in perfect condition with no obvious defects or losses.
