Description

A stunning, large pair of antique Chinese carved wood and polychrome temple birds, c1850. Beautifully carved and composed, they have a real presence and have aged beautifully with good colour/patina.

There is minor surface wear/marks and some loss of paint, and we think there has also been a minor historic repair to one beak, but generally they are in very good condition commensurate with age and use. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact us with any questions or if you would like to view the items.

Size: 1) 45 cm tall x 30 cm wide x 18 cm deep; 2) 42 cm tall x 30 cm wide x 15 cm deep.
