A Set of Five First World War Silk & Embroidery Postcards from France.

A poignant and personal memory from the First World War. This is a set of five silk and embroidery postcards sent by 'Albert' to his wife, around 1915. The cards were made in and sent from France and were items that soldiers sent back to their loved ones while away at War.

Each card is different and four of the five have personal handwritten messages on the reverse. One card is envelope fashion and still has it's card insert (shown in photo). A charming, collectable souvenir of the Great War.
