1920s Bone & Bamboo Mah Jong Set

Description

This BONE & BAMBOO MAH JONG SET dates from circa 1920.

The 144 dove-tailed TILES are stored in four pull-out drawers inside the purpose-built wooden carrying case. The top fitted drawer contains markers, counters, four blank tiles, die and shaker.

There are also four wooden tile stands.

The condition is good. There is a slight twist on the door which prevents it from locking but it does stay up.

Height: 6 inches (15 cm)

Width: 10.25 inches (26 cm)

Depth: 6.25 inches (16 cm)
