Description

This fascinating and highly decorative pressed copper PUB SIGN, was erected by the PEOPLE'S REFRESHMENT HOUSE ASSOCIATION during Edwardian times, outside their establishments.

The PRHA encouraged Landlord's to serve non-alcoholic beverages and food rather than push the sale of the 'demon drink'.

The SIGN has been painted green. Traces of copper can be seen beneath.

It would make an interesting decorative feature in any home or Restaurant.
