19th Century Mahogany Sarcophagus Cellaret

Description

A mid 19th century fine quality mahogany sarcophagus cellaret or wine cooler.

The hinged top consists of fine quality curl mahogany with a moulded edge and carved decoration to the top.

Also each of the side panels is of fine quality mahogany leading down to turned feet with brass castors underneath.

The interior is no longer fitted which makes the cellaret a more versatile item to use for storage.

This piece is in superb condition for age and can go straight into a home.
