Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This is a lovely, English antique decoy pigeon, a good, large size and in the original paint finish.
The wing and tail feathers are carved and the decoy is displayed on a later, in keeping, stand.
In very good condition, with just a slight loss to one tail feather and a little snip on a glass eye.
Dating from around 1880, now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.
