Massive late 19th.c. floor standing oriental temple gong c.1890. 34” diameter cast bronze ‘nipple’ gong hung on an impressive solid hardwood stand with extensive bronze mounts, partially repeated on the rear. Excellent condition, beautiful low frequency tone, sold together with a large period clapper.
