Pair Framed Butterfly Wing Collages C.1930.

Description

Spectacular pair of large early 20th.c. butterfly wing collages, probably Brazilian in origin c.1930. Each panel features hundreds of butterfly wings carefully arranged into geometrical circular patterns with a large Blue Morpho at the centre. Very good condition, presented behind glass in their original carved hardwood frames.

Dimensions: width 28", height 20".
