Canterbury Magazine Rack Fine Quality William IV Mahogany C1830

Here we have an exceptionally fine quality William IV Mahogany Canterbury c1830. As you can see the canterbury has wonderful colour and patina. The top section has three divisions with remarkable carving and turnings between. The typical of the period carved decoration includes scroll work in the roccoco manner and carved roundels. The turnings between the divisions are particularly well executed as are the beautiful legs. The legs retain their original brass casters. There is a single drawer with fine hand cut dovetail joints, Mahogany linings and original turned and reeded handles. A stunning example of a much loved and useful antique. The dimensions are approx 20 inches wide 14.5 deep and 18 high.
