Antique Silver Double Watch Chain

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique silver double watch chain or albert with later pen knife attachment.

The albert comprises one long chain threaded through a central ring; the long chain measures 40cm long including the two clasps. There are hallmarks on the T-bar and the two clasps for Birmingham 1908 and 1909. Each of the links has the lion passant silver mark.

The chain also comes with a small silver penknife, 4.5cm long when closed. The penknife is later than the chain with hallmarks for Birmingham 1968.

The total weight of the chain and penknife is 63.9g.
