Description

A wonderful example of a really beautiful early 20th century hand-carved wall appliqué in the form of a woven wicker basket containing flowers and leaves. There is a loop handle above which is a decorative surmount comprised of intertwining ribbon. This highly decorative item can be easily wall mounted, and would grace any room in the house, especially a hallway or kitchen. English, c.1910.
