Large Brass & Oak Dinner Gong C.1890.

Description

Splendid late 19th.c. brass mounted dinner gong c.1890. Large and heavy rectangular hammered brass gong with great tone hung from a heavy gauge brass yoke on barley twist columns with brass finials and bases. On a oak plinth for stability with brass bun feet. Sold together with the original and large clapper with turned oak handle. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 23", depth 10", height 35".
