Description

As part of our page turner and paper kinife collection we are pleased to offer this rare surviving page turner from 1895 , the highly decorative advertising desk accessory depicts the map of the world on either side of the blade which now highlights the many changes to the governence and names of many countries in the last 120 years , the handle doubled as a calender and the blade advertised "The eastern Telegraph company ltd and the Eastern extension Telegraph company limited " z50 & 11 Old Broad St London Ec .

A very interesting and topical desk accessory that has survived intact for 120 years .

The condition is great with minor lacquer wear .

Length 13.25" 33.5 cm

Width 1 3/8" 3.5 cm
