Unusual 18th Century Oak Rustic Country Side Hall Table.

Description

An unusual continental oak side table, which simply oozes rustic charm and character.

1700-1750.

The table top is of rectangular form, with a protruding moulded edge, over a single moulded drawer, with split pin, pear-drop handle.

Pegged construction.

Standing on cabriole style forelegs.

Very good rustic antique condition, strong and sturdy, with expected signs of use consistent with age. Lots of character, rich colour and patina. Historical signs of woodworm to one leg, only minor.

Very solid sturdy and strong.

Bees-waxed and polished.

The dimensions are.

Height-70cm.

Width-72cm. Width including the cabriole legs-76cm.

Depth-51.5cm
