The Antique Partnership has dated this piece to the 1750s.
(This design of coaster never had casters as can be seen on some models. Larger coasters with heavy round cheeses could cause indentations in the table top if they possessed casters even with leather covered wheels.) There are come knocks and cracks to this one as could be expected in its 200 year + life but it has an excellent colour and patina.
