Birmingham 1931 Solid Silver and Enamel Art Deco Table Hand Mirror Made by Well Known Makers Adie Brothers.

Description

Birmingham 1931 solid silver English hallmarked and enamel Art Deco table hand mirror made by the very well regarded firm Adie Brothers.

Beautifully shaped and enamelled in gold guilloche over a detailed engraving of stripes, swags and wave design, this is both practical and decorative. The engraved design almost appears to be beams of light. It is beautifully done.

The mirror is glazed with bevelled glass.

Size-mirror 11.25 inches long by 4.75 inches wide.

With a couple of edge flakes to the enamel handle, this lovely and stylish period piece is in very good condition overall, and an iconic example of Art Deco 30's style.

Matching hairbrush is available, and sold separately if desired.
