Japanese One Piece Ivory Okimono Signed

1900 - 1920
Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality one piece Japanese ivory okimono depicting a mythical character possibly Daikoku , this humerous little chap with hair tied in bunches stands clutching a bag over his left shoulder whilst gazing down at a rat in his right hand, he appears to be wearing a ceremonial type necklace and wears a wakisashi from his belt , a great fun little okimono signed to its base.

Condition is great with no damage.

Height 5" 12.5 cm

Base 2.5" x 6.5 cm
