A spectacular collection of late 19th century British and visiting Owls, set in a naturalistic setting with the birds perched on branches, mosses and grasses. Owls include, Barn Owl (Tyto Alba), Little Owl (Athene Noctua), Long Eared Owl (Asio Otus), Short Eared Owl (Asio Flammeus, Tawny Owl (Strix Aluco), Snowy Owl (Bubo Scandiaca), Eurasian Eagle Owl (Bubo Bubo), and three others. In its original glass and mahogany case.

Provenance from Alton Manor, Idridgehay, Derbyshire, home of the late Lady Winifred Hilton, Widow of Lord Lieutenant Sir Peter Hilton

Size: 44 ins wide 18 ins deep and 46 high
