Framed Georgian Sampler - Jane Ford Aged 9

Description

This finely-worked LATE GEORGIAN SAMPLER bears the name JANE FORD 9 in pale silk just above the central motif of Adam & Eve.

The SAMPLER is well-detailed with motifs of stylised flowers, people, birds and buildings, all worked on a finely woven ground.

There is a signature on the bottom half of the SAMPLER which looks to be WILLIAM MILLER.

The condition is good.

Height of Frame: 20.5 inches (52 cm)

Width of Frame: 15.5 inches (39.5 cm)
