A 1940'S, 12" Table Globe by George Phillip

1920 - 1940
Description

Circa 1946-48, Philips 12” terrestrial globe with number 2615 on the disc. The globe is papier-mache held in position by a steel half bezel and standing on a stained mahogany frame. As the globes depicts Tanganyika rather than Tanzania the globe was made between 1946-1961. The globe does not show Israel therefore it is pre 1948. Overall height 17 inches (430 mm)
