Description

Edwardian Antique Tailors Dummy by Harris & Sheldon.

This is a lovely quality, English antique tailors dummy, on an unusual and high end oak tripod base with splayed legs which have a moulded front.

The shaped body is covered in the original fabric which is in very good condition, topped off with an ornate oak finial.

Dating from around 1900 and made by Harris & Sheldon Ltd, Birmingham.

The dummy has the named stamped in red underneath and also the iron winding mechanism is stamped within the iron with their trading name.

In superb condition, a very clean example of an Edwardian tailors dummy that would have been in the tailors shop to do alteration for Gentlemans outfits.

Now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Lancashire.
