Description

Two truly magnificent 19th century curtain pelmets (also ideal for using as bed-canopy pelmets) retaining their original water-gilded finish that has intentionally been neither restored nor touched-in and - as a result - is of immense character and charm. Each pelmet – one being 7” (175mm) longer than the other - is of the same design having beautifully sculptured scrolling borders, acanthus leaf corner motifs, and a superb central shell cartouche. English, c.1825 – c.1850.

£580 each (or for £990 for both)

Overall height of each 11¼” (285mm)
