Large pair of C19th French Louis XVI style ormolu-mounted marble vases. Impressive scale 'breche violette'/ purple striated marble vases with well-cast ormolu mounts. Fixed 'lids' with berry finials ,shell-cast band, twin horned satyr-mask handles and floral garland swagged bodies. Raised on a stiff-leaf/feather cast support onto tapering foot and round marble base. Striking colour stone with subdued patinated ormolu bronze mounts. good condition with no breaks or repairs.
