This is a massive English antique general post office wicker basket.

Complete with the original GPO lettering and the vellum covered top edge and matching corners.

In very good condition, imagine how many logs you could store in it! Perfect for a large country house hotel or public house.

Originally this antique wicker basket was used in the sorting offices of the postal services, it dates from around 1900.

Now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
