Early Victorian Small Mahogany Antique Canterbury

This Early Victorian Small Mahogany Antique Canterbury dates from the Victorian period circa, 1840, it has a attractive lattice design magazine rack above a small drawer with turned handles. This very handy Canterbury stands on four beautifully turned legs with brass castors. At some stage this lovely piece has been restored and re varnished to bring it to its current look. The mahogany has aged to a medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approximate dimensions are:

Height:49cm / 19 inches

Width: 44cm / 17.5 inches

Depth: 33 cm / 13 inches
