Japanese One Piece Ivory Lioness Okimono

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality one piece Japanese ivory okimono of a lioness , she is captured in a prowling stance with open mouth , the artist has carved in fine detail the cats hair and inset mother of pearl eyes ,it is as lifelike a stance as you could imagine from a carver that had never seen a lioness in the wild.

A great okimono in superb condition !
