Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
In the centre is the large gong which is brass but has been chromed, perhaps in the 1930s. Beneath this is a trestle style foot with solid quarter brackets. All the uprights are solid oak with chamfered corners. There is a small chrome hook on the side for a beater which will be supplied. Very stylish and sturdy.
Size 107cm high x 59cm wide x 38cm deep.
