This is a charming Georgian sampler dated 1823 by Sarah Lupton who was aged only eight years when she completed the work. The sampler has a delightful poem titled " The Happy Choice " surrounded by intricately stitched floral borders. The sampler is in excellent condition for its age and measures 42 cms by 38 cms.
