Pair of Cast Iron Late Nineteenth Century Garden Urns on Pedestals -French

Description

A rare find from a French chateau. A beautifully cast pair of circular urns on separate tall pedestal bases all matching. The urns have lions head handles with rings. The previous owner loved these so much he brought one into his chateau to use indoors and unfortunately repainted it (bless him) However they are such fabulous quality it would be worth the effort to sprinkle this with water on a regular basis to ensure the surface rust matches the rest

Both pedestals are marked with the maker Corneau Freres Charleville no 1
