As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this most charming Japanese mixed media study of a female shamisen player,the lacquered wood figure of the geisha has finely painted detail to the flowing kimono, the ivory face is superb in terms of both it's quality and looks, with further ivory detailing to the hat, hands,feet and the shamisen itself, this is a truly charming study of everyday Japanese life.
