Japanese Totai Shippo Decorated Dish, Late 19th Century

For sale is this very fine and quite rare Japanese Totai Shippo decorated dish of large size dating to the last quarter of the 19th century. The dish has a diameter of 31cms and a depth of 3.9cm and is in perfect unrestored condition. It has in time past been wall mounted and the is some slight marking to the rim because on the metal straps used. The front section finely decorated in the Totai Shippo manner with two standing Crane with Iris and a single butterfly. The reverse undecorated but signed in underglaze blue and retaining its original paper cleaning label. Please read the following on Totai Shippo ware:
