Above the protruding canopy, there is a useful plate groove to enable plates to stand on top of the rack (to be displayed) to avoid them sliding forwards. Further below, the rack features a scalloped shaped frieze, which holds five original brass shaped hooks. The rack boasts elegant scalloped shaped sides too. At the bottom of the rack is a central well section which features carved flat splats to the front. Flanking this are two floral carved working drawers either side. The rack comes will wall attachments to allow you to hang it onto the wall.

This wall rack features a rich warm brown chestnut colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Condition Report:
This rack is in excellent condition. The rack boasts its original polish, which is rare to see; this is why it boasts a stunning deep rich chestnut colour. The rack comes will wall attachments to allow you to hang it onto the wall. Free of woodworm, solid in joint (does not wobble) and ready to use.
