Pair 19th Century Japanese Carved Buffaloes

Description

These are a very striking, good quality pair of Japanese carved hardwood buffaloes on stands. The carving is very fine with buffalo and rider being intricately carved from the same piece of wood. The buffaloes date from the 19th century and both are in excellent condition. They are 27cm long and 18cm high.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.

You are most welcome to visit the shop but please always check to confirm we are open before travelling.
