Magnificent Japanese Mixed Metal Bronze Panel Shodana

1900 - 1920
Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this most impressive and high quality Japanese shodana,this imposing cabinet is fitted with a combination of shelves , cupboards and secret drawers creating an ideal display area for your precious Japanese collection, the shodana's most unique feature is that each drawer and door front is inset with a wonderful bronze and mixed metal panel , the combinations are too numerous but each one is finished in different mixed metals such as gold,silver,shibuichi and shakudo to name a few, the open shelf areas that are visible are also backed with fine quality mixed metal panels, to be honest the cabinet is so visually attractive you could leave it empty and continue to spot new features for a very long while.

The condition is superb throughout and the cabinet breaks down as intended for transportation .
