The top section features 6 curved “s” shaped coat hooks above a large central turned column, which terminates with a turned finial. Further below, the base features a circular ring, which supports umbrellas. Four splayed legs support the hallstand firmly on the ground. The hallstand dismantles into two sections for easy transport
This item features a rich near dark colour (similar to ebony). As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Condition Report:
The item is in excellent and original condition. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Importantly, there are no breaks to the hooks (which is common with these types of hallstands) or damage to the central column or legs. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
