Chapel Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
with shaped oak pegs.They are made from quarter sawn oak and detailed mouldings to each frieze.The
bottom pegs are slightly smaller and are all spaced
for maximum use.They have an excellent colour and finish which give them a country house look and appeal.
I am happy to split the pair and sell
them singularly.
